Hilja II is a bed where every single part is removable and therefore 100% recyclable. The frame is crafted from FSC-certified solid softwood, upholstered with a soft and flexible organic cotton knit. Inside, a combination of Bonnell and pocket springs provides balanced support and adapts ideally to the body.

Hilja Classic is a sleek Nordic frame bed made from eco-certified natural materials. This guarantees an exceptionally clean, breathable and safe sleeping environment.
The Hilja bed frame is made from sustainably grown, FSC certified solid coniferous wood. The soft, 100% natural latex we use as surface padding provides gentle support for the sleeper. The bed frame’s unique combination of Bonnell and pocket springs, in turn, offers ideal body support and adaptability.

You’ll find your ideal balance of softness and support by choosing either a medium or firm mattress tension. We also recommend testing the bed in person before making your final decision.
Durable springs
The durable double boxspring system of the Hilja bed is made from hardened steel and holds the LGA certification for quality. The more the boxsprings are compressed, the stronger support they provide. The Bonnell lower spring system complements the boxspring system and expands the springs’ range of movement.

The carefully selected materials in the Hilja beds naturally offer excellent properties that enhance a healthy sleep environment. The frame is crafted from responsibly grown, FSC-certified solid softwood. The removable frame cover is available in either Terra fabric – an energy-efficient and durable hemp–Tencel blend – or in soft and elastic organic cotton. Organic cotton is cultivated without toxic pesticides or genetic engineering. Both hemp and organic cotton have a smaller environmental footprint compared to conventional cotton. The padding, made of pure 100% natural latex, is highly breathable and long-lasting. The high-quality pocket springs, manufactured in Germany from tempered steel, ensure durability and a long lifespan for the bed.
A Hilja mattress topper adds the final touch to your comfortable bed. Made from responsibly produced 100% natural latex, it adapts gently to your body while its open-cell structure ensures excellent breathability and temperature regulation. The production process requires less energy and significantly reduces the carbon footprint. The topper comes with a removable two-part cover that can be easily washed at 40°C – we recommend using a mild, ecological detergent without bleaching agents.
